I remember Miles on the Ocean Monarch he was first officer bit of a character but harmless, met him later at a reunion we had a good chat said he never had any luck with the ladies.(Smoke)

You are right he was a big guy, the lampy I remember was Percy he ended up with a good position in Australian customs, Nickolaidis was the chief steward.

I did three trips on the Aranda around 69, topsider Bamboo bar and lounge, captain was Hammond, chief steward a Belgian Massanoff head barman Billy Rep, was a good ship pity they didn't last too long.
