Smile Best wishes

Jim
Ian Plater is now based at the Coastguard Training Centre at Highcliffe (Dorset). I believe his title is 'Learning & Development Consultant'
Best wishes for the New Year to all at SN and especially to all those who keep the J & J thread ticking over!
Angus

That was (again I think) th maiden voyage when the spare prop. broke loose in the dry cargo hold, all the light fittings fell out of the deck head and we damaged the bow plating and had to go into St. Johns Newfoundland for repairs. Nearly didn't make it - force 11, fog and icebergs all at the same time.
If you are talking to him - please give him my regards.

Incidentally: do you know Ian Plater in the Clyde Coast Guard? he was moved from Tarbert to Greenock and I lost touch just over two years ago.
