There have been runs of wild Salmon in the Thames for the last 15 years or so along with the odd Sea Trout. I'm glad that they are managing to restock the river. It will be 10-15 years of constant stocking before they have an established wild migratory population but only 5-7 years before thay have enough fish returning to allow a catch and return fishery.

I'm all for the restocking , the Thames was ( before we polluted it so badly ) once a river full of Salmon and Sea Trout so I hope they keep it up and succeed.
