Hi ruud,Iwas on the s.t.s.San Ernesto from 18th May 1961 to10th July 1962 also on the s.t.s San Fernando 26th May 1964 to 03rd February 1965 She was the last ex eagle oil ship to have the eagle still on the funnel shell decided to wait till we returned to the UK for dry dock.To replace it with the shell on the funnel. we all paid of in dry dock.Met the captain 3 years later who told me he had the eagles off the funnel for gates to his drive way regards BOB THOMAS 41 years with shell tankers from cat/boy to cook/stwd then chief steward.
