A link to the St Helena website had this little gem hidden away.

I believe nothing much has changed per se, merely the old company has been wound up and a new one established to take its place but with an added Hadleys connection. I do wonder if Weirs will vacate their current office in Royal Mint Court and move across London to the Hadley HQ.
One of Weirs principal maritime shareholdings in recent years was a 25% stake in Foreland Shipping; the other shareholders being Bibby Line, James Fisher and Hadley Steamship (who all had 25% shares). Bibbys and Fishers sold their shares to Hadleys in 2013, and it would appear the latter now own 50% of Weirs!
Incidentally, they aren't the first company to be forced to sell up due to MNOPF commitments, there's been a few so far.
