Hi all

As a 'new boy' I hope I have done this right. Just to let you know I joined today. I'm a ship enthusiast rather than an 'old salt', except for a relatively short period in the RNXS before we were closed down in the mid-1990s defence cuts. I was then Training Officer for the Sea Cadets in Gravesend until 1999.
I've called myself Childers because that was my Dad's ship. I did my first Navy Days at Devonport with him in '61 when the late lamented HMS Plymouth was new.
I have a few pictures which have appeared elsewhere some years ago but hopefully it will be OK to post them here.
Regards to all
