The poor little soul who was so brutally tortured and murdered while visiting her grandparents on the Isle of Bute, by a 16 year old Demon

Why - will it bring her back?

No, it will not bring her back but it would give me and a lot of other people some satisfaction.....

I do not want to get into a debate with you on a thread that is meant to remember the little girl..

Frank

Never fails to amaze me how people who want to torture psychopaths miss the irony.

Pruning I see as more curing than torturing.

Pruning was of course banned when there were too many perfectly good branches getting removed

And now when a limb is obviously rotten and an obvious danger to those around we take no action but to lock up the whole tree.

We all get then idea. Hitler was bad but that does not mean that everything done when he was in charge was wrong. We do not want him to breed and we do not want him to offend again. An obvious variation on the story. Get two stones from one gaolbird. And, should he determine that course for himself, for heaven's sake don't let the law get in the way.

A teenager in the USA (I think) still risks his neck for such a crime (again a volunteer should not be stopped). I am suggesting little worse than how we treat a favourite dog as soon as they fancy a table leg.

Due to the nature of his crime he will be incarcerated with others who have committed similar crimes. Why should the thought of THEM using this 16yo give anyone any satisfaction?

Let us just remember the little girl as her parents will try to i.e. as the happy little child she was before this terrible crime.

So sad for this little girl and her parents.
Surely the part of the answer is to find out what made him do it. No one just gets out of bed one morning and decides to murder an innocent child.
