Indeed Keith, both were great talents in their own genres. Hudd came from a great era of comics and because of that his special talent was sometimes under appreciated. Good actor also. Like you, Kenny on his own and in company with other great artistes such as Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson etc provided a very nostalgic backdrop to many a ship's bar p - up in another era. RIP to both gents.

R.I.P. Kenny, The gambler what a song, very poignant for a lot of people.

R.I.P. Roy. I did not see a lot of him but from what I have heard he was a good performer..

Kenny Rogers sang many songs with Dolly Parton.
One of the best 'Islands in the stream'.
He was a great country and western singer and will be remembered.
Roy Hudd was a versatile and great actor and I remember the
Huddlines also.
An accomplished comedian and his cockney accent. The cheeky
chappie.
Guests appearances on Juke Box Jury, Celebrity Squares and The
good old days.
Both will be sadly missed.

Just noticed that the folk singer Julie Felix also passed away in the
last few days aged 81 after a short illness.
She appeared on television during the sixties and seventies.
RIP Julie.
