Matthew Flinders

Have just found this site and joined.
I have been looking for photo of this vessel for ages. I was skipper of this pilot cutter for the port of Brisbane Australia 1969-70

There are several in the Gallery including one that looks remarkably like Britannia. I suspect that might be the one you want.
Oh, and welcome!

Yes, it was built by the same builder Samuel White and strongly resembled the Britannia, but was much smaller being only 204 feet long

dptracey,

On behalf of the SN Moderating Team, a warm welcome aboard from the Isle of Anglesey!
I hope you thoroughly enjoy your time on SN and get many happy hours entertainment from your membership.

Yes, as Chris says there are three photographs of your Matthew Flinders on this page of the SN Gallery.
