Hello from an Old Conway

Hello everyone.

My name is Phil van Bergen, currently sales manager at SELEX Communications (the old Marconi Marine).

After Conway, I started my seagoing career with Ocean Fleets in '71, ending up with OCL and P&O Containers before coming ashore in the early 80s to work in P&O Containers' IT department.

Followed that with stints at C&W, Equant, Inmarsat, GN Comtext, EMS Satcom, Vados Systems and finally ended up in SELEX.

Regards to all who know me.

Phil vB

Phil, from Michigan, a warm welcome to Ships Nostalgia, it's good to have you as a member.
We're fortunate in having many Sparkies as members and chances are you'll be hearing from old shipmates before long.

Bruce

Smile Welcome

Phil,

A warm welcome to SN from the Isle of Anglesey.
There is every chance that you will meet old shipmates on this site so, have a good look round and join in the banter as much as possible.
Beware, it is addictive!
