Hi Chris,
I was on Reefers due to the abnormal size at the time refered to as Wild Reefers, I spent many happy years on the Loch Maree, managed by Denholm Ship Management mostly on Salens charters, they where built in Charles Connel Shipyard, Loch Maree and the Loch Lomond.
Carried evrey thing you could possible immagine, from potted "Supermarket" plants, usual types of fruits, Cars / trucks, Eggs, Cheese, Sausages to Open loading Torpedo size Tuna at sea.
Japanese fish charters were good, six months to complete a cargo and mostly loaded by the ships crews, I used to do the manifests, nice bonus earners and we ate like kings.
Yes good times.

Spence.

What exactly are you seeking Chris?
Some of us don't have time to play guessing games.
