Hi everyone, Would love to chat with anyone that sailed with OCL( baby bays) from 1969 to 1979? Never forgotten memories with a great company.

Hi Ray, Welcome to SN mate. How are you doing? I was with them from '77-'98 and best years of my life at sea. You are on the Bayboat site are you not? Lots of the lads on there.

I remember the ' Baby Bays' with fondness. At Tilbury we discharged and loaded them as fast as the dockers would allow. As a manager, I had a few tricks up my sleeve on the night shift and would hold out the promise of a job and finish ( an old trick) or better still, the approval for a pornographic film session in a convenient empty 40ft container. After the maximum number of containers had been loaded, of course! The top brass in London could never understand how my tally of boxes loaded was so good!
