HMS cumberland 1940'S cruiser

Hi my name is Myles Webb i live in Perth Australia. I may doing research on the HMS Cumberland which was a Kent class cruiser from the late 1920's to 1950's. I am trying to locate photo's and information on this ship from around to time of WW2 as my grandfather served on this ship. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the information.

try THIS site as well for more inmformation on Cumberland plus photos, open the site place your cursur over RN ships them movedown to the Caledon class etc and side over to the Kent class and finally down to the Cumberland.
WW2 cruisers is an excellent site.

HMS Cumberland

HI Myles,

I'm from Johannesburg South Africa.

My Grandfather also served on the Cumberland starting at it's refit in SimonsTown until the end of the war.

I have some pics of him with his fellow sailors and of the vessel.
