Tracing my Grandfathers Seafaring History

Evening All
I am trying to create a timeline of my Grandfathers Sea days and I am hoping some people on here may know him.
His name is Henry Hahn, known better as 'Charlie' or 'Chaz.' He joined his first ship in 1953 and retired some time in the 90s.
He served on both the Hardwicke Grange and the Royston Grange (HG in the 60s and I know he should of been on the RG when she had her collision the Tien Chee.
If anyone did serve with him at any point please let me know any information or dates, or if anyone knows a way I can get hold of info, (if companies hold crew lists etc)?
Many Thanks
