I'm interested in information on Bullard King's ss Umtali as my Uncle Captain F.O'Hea was master for many years. I know she passed to Elder Dempster as Calabar. Captain O'Hea transferred to Clan Line following the merger into British & Commonwealth.

i see an entry saying they were converted to oil after the war but my mothers 1950 diary says tommy rigby of beaumaris as 2nd mate and he had to shift ship in hull docks on the 12/8/50 to the coal berth he then left theship to go to his friend Willey's wedding in beaumaris, Willey had TB.
