Rocknes

Dave / Lakercaptain,

I have placed a Jebsen Marketing Postcard in the Gallery. This is the best I could find.
I'll dig deeper and will eventually find some old DD photos (always photographed the Mains and B/Ends for Insurance purposes) and there just might be one or two familiar faces you both might remember.

Ringnes

[QUOTE=Hague;114214]Dave,
Go to 'Google' and type in 'Wilson Muuga'. An interesting article!!!!!!!!
Brgds
I have the Ringnes radio room clock on our living room wall and framed inspection certificate. Was r/o on Ringnes and Rocknes with laker captain(mentioned here) also cpt Gordon sleight and cpt Mike Meyer ( crazy horse). Neubaeur was another captain I sailed with and another little fellow might have been Horton. All mid 70's early 80's. Best run was Newcastle to Glasgow to pick up yachts and old steam trains then off to St Lawrence in July and through Great Lakes to Chicago.....picked up lathe coolant/mineral for Eccles. Ambition fulfilled to sail under the M6.....tugs had to drag us into Salford basin to turn us around and bring us out as hadn't been dredged for some time. Had the wife along as well....good times.
