Need help on some research

(wave) Hi there! I am a stay-at-home mom who is trying to find out about our shipbuilder's models. One is 1852 and the other is 1860. I have searched and searched but to no avail. It seems that there is a lot of information for ships built in the later part of 19th century - am I right? I hope that this is the right place to be!

lusha'smom, you are in the right place and hopefully someone can help you; in the meantime a warm welcome to you and thank you for joining the community; do enjoy the site and all it has to offer, and we very much look forward to your postings. Bon Voyage

NB. Please give us a bit more background on the models in question and we can see what feed-back we can get.

As I posted in the models section
Interesting one. Without sight of the models, that is a hard one.
Have you checked out Mystic Seaport? I always check them first.
I have also posted here that you can get many of the Lloyds Registers online now.

Click on 'Go Advanced' and you will be able to add pictures to the thread. Limit your pictures to 800 x 600 pixels (19.5 kb) jpg for example.
