A future

Now you old timers, and todays sea marine industry?a poser, please.
The international car industry is all excited, and appears to be embracing all electric propulsion!
Now the marine industry of tomorrow can it go that way, with in built generators of wind and or Solar power, or chemica!ly from sea water cracking.
Do we/they have the battery capcity units to develope some units of 50.000kw. Answers on a postcard please?
