Maynards 12331

I need your help again please. My ancestor Henry Thompson was discharged from the Maynards in August 1859. (He signed on in Dec 1858). I searched for the records at National Archives and thought I had found, but after a relative searched and sent copies, I noticed it was same ship, Same master, but different voyage. Do logbooks close off at the end of each voyage?????? If so any idea where I would go to find the next trip.

Did not? Maynards in the UK produce a toffee sweetie or mint? My mind and memory have gone blank trying to recall the jars of sweeties in the local tuck shop, and the name of the sweetie, was it ''MINTO's'???

Sorry to say I also only remember Maynards as a sweet shop with no apostrophe. Dylan Thomas wrote of "Mintoes," but that may have been poetic licence. Good luck with the much more serious search.
