Does anybody know anything about this general cargo ship, built in 1962 in Sunderland and Laings?
Am particularly looking for plans or a source for them, but anything will help as there are few details about her in the net.
Thanks

I enjoyed my time with John I Jacobs although never so fortunate to obtain a berth in this one.

I saw her in South America in the late 1960's, and she's always stuck in my mind.
She was a LOVELY looking ship.

She was a great looker, I did my first trip to sea in her as galley boy in 1963/4. Went all over the world South America, Continent, South and East Africa onto Japan and back to Capetown then paid off in Glasgow. First port of call was Las Palmas for bunkers, bought a watch off some character on the quayside, it stopped working as soon as the island was out of sight! Happy Days. Believe she was broken up in Kaoshiung in 1984.

Thanks for all the help.
Have found a GA for the Teakwood and am preparing to build a model of her. Have not found any colour pictures of her from above, can anybody recall the deck colour?
Thanks
