trying to trace my birth father

hi there i dont know whether i have joined the right group but if you can help me i'm trying to trace a person who worked on a ship and maybe he still works on ships i'm not sure but the ship is called the baltic sea and the imo number for that is 5216082i know the owner of that ship was yick fung shipping but if any one can help me with any information at all thanks

hi frank thanks for getting in touch and i already have all this information im stuck in limbo at the moment of were else to look and people to ask this is the ship my birth father christos dervenis worked on i am trying to trace my birth father i didn't know with this group been a group for seamen whether any one could help me or even pass the message on somehow as far as i'm aware he lives in greece i didn't realise how hard it could be to trace a person

Seeking father

Hi, I suggest you approach some of the Genealogy Forums on Facebook as well. They are pretty useful in sleuthing up information. For example, I was able to get hold of a ship's complement list to accompany my reasearch. Best of luck !
