To me the ship's name looks like SS Trematon. Hains had such a ship which was sunk in 1916 by a U-boat.

Can't be that one. It was launched after 1906.

SS Trematon

According to Ships List there was an earlier one, built 1904 and sold to a Spanish owner in 1911.

Found this on the Wrecksite website:

SS Trematon - Built by Readhead and Sons, South Shields - 1904.
Sold in 1911 to Cia. Naviera Vascongada - Felix De Abasolo

As the SS Artagan - Spanish cargo steamer of 2,171 grt that ran aground and was wrecked off Cabo Carvoeiro, Peniche peninsula, Portugal on the 29th February 1912 when on route from Cardiff for Barcelona with a cargo of coal.

Look at the 'L' of Loving at the sign off which is like your (Libre). - It is slightly different in form to the first letter of the ship name, so maybe not an 'L'.
Second letter 'r' - Same as the 'r' in arrived here.
