RIP Andrew. So very funny as Manuel, the perfect pairing with John Cleese and the rest at Fawlty Towers.

I do wonder if his condition was exacerbated or even triggered by the voicemails sent to him by those two anuses who's names I need not mention.

A great character actor, who created everybody's favourite Spanish waiter.

A sad loss,

The BBC showed the hilarious episode last night were the deaf lady was in the hotel and Basil had got the maid to put his bet on and told Manuel that he knows nothing! I have seen it dozens of times but I still almost wet myself laughing.
Poor old Prunella Scales is doing a lovely programme with Timothy West at the moment were they do great canal journeys in a variety of craft. She does all the locks and she is fighting dementia, sad to see her like that, lovely programme, catch it if you can?

When we hear that his dementia began about four years ago, the connection no doubt sprang into many minds; certainly mine.

What's the story about the "two anuses" ("ani'?)?

Sorry to hear about Andrew Sachs and also Prunella Scales. We don't know what's waiting round the corner, thank God.
