Aberdovey Class fleet tender

HI! I building the Aberdovey class fleet tender Cawsand as a model ship. Was cawsand engaged in the Falkland wars? Did they haw the same civil color then? Were they ewer armed? The hull is ready, the superstructure next....

The colour scheme for the Aberdovey Class was the same as all other RMAS vessels - black hull and buff superstructure. I think this class also had a white band around the hull at hawse pipe level. As far as I know only two of this class went to the Falklands and that was long after the fighting had stopped - BLAKENEY was one of them. Since the RN/Marines operated them in the Falklands they may have been armed but not in UK waters.
