Hi all,
My name is Keith Lathwell. I was an Engineer Cadet with Shaw Savill starting from 1969. I retired in 2012. I served on the following Moreton Bay, Medic, Northern Star, Laurentic, Suevic, Cairncarrier, Cairnoak, Chiltern Prince, Bergen Juno, Lynton Grange and others I will need to check my discharge book for. I am particularly interested in shipmates from the last voyage of Suevic.

Welcome aboard Keith. That's a long cadetship.
Good advice is usually ignored, but that's no reason for not giving it. Miss Marple.

Welcome to the site Keith. Have a look in the Shaw Savill thread in the shipping companies section. Not many S.S.& A. left these days, the Shaw Savill Society in to be wound up next year (2020)

Hello Keith

I was 1E/E on the scrap trip to Taiwan in 1974. 45 years ago, where have all the years gone. You were a tall, slim Junior Engineer. I was seven years with Shaw Savill sailing on Suevic, Icenic and Illyric. Great days. Now 71 years old and living in Ardrossan, Scotland.
