What happened to "La Bahia"

I am looking for information on the 1940 Doxford build La Bahia. I sailed on her in 1960 during my Second Mates it was supposed to be a short trip from South Shields to Montreal and then back to Glasgow.I got home seven months later. Does anyone know what happened to her
Tom

Tom,
"La Bahia"was built as "Sutherland" for B. J. Sutherland & Co, 1953 "Grainton" of Chapman & Willan, 1957 "La Bahia", 1961 "San John", 1965 "Ledra", 11 November 1967 aground on Alpee Shoal off the east coast of Sri Lanka, apparently while trying to avoid local fishing boats, en route Madras to Rijeka with iron ore, broke in two, looted and set on fire.

Thanks Rudd
That is really brilliant. She was one of those once in a lifetime experiences I will nevever forget and she had some characters onboard when I sailed on her.One could write a book about her. The Chief Officer was as mad as a hatter and used to hang Garlic round his cabin to keep the Vampires out. The Second Mate was an ex Master who used to deliver Liberty Ships during the war and was demotted due to drinking. He was in his early sixties and jumped ship in BA,after he sold most of the contents of the Chief Officers Storeroom.
regards
Tom

... and as luck would have it, Riversea just happen to be featuring the vessel at present. There's an excellent photo on their site AS La Bahia:
