Peter, a warm welcome to you. Thank you for joining the community and posting a welcome/hello message, enjoy the site and all it has to offer and we very much look forward to your postings. No doubt, with the weight of Brocks on here, you will be swamped with information. Bon Voyage

Hi Nobby I did wonder if I would hear from you. Hope you and Betty are both well and still enjoying life.
Loraine and I are fine and thoroughly enjoying things, still getting away for plenty of holidays which we both enjoy. Also doing a fair amount of family history for both sides of the family and this gets us to all sorts of places up in Scotland looking for Loraines side who were scattered around Scotland so we do enjoy that.
Miss the reunions but appreciate why but it is so nice to keep in touch so keep dropping a line to keep me up to date.

Kindest regards and love to Betty

Peter

Hi Peter,
I remember sailing coast-wise with you on the MAGDAPUR, 1965 I think.
We were at Smiths drydock for about six weeks, and did many a run ashore to the "Jungle" and other fine places, the "Rex" hotel, I think we all stayed there a couple of nights because of the racket of riveters on the ship.
Tommy Jones was the C/E, relieved by Jake Donnelly, Stuart ? 2/E I was 4/E and can't remember anyone else. I left and joined the Rose of Lancaster for a trip down the west coast of Africa, then left Brocks and joined Canadian Pacific. Now living in the USA.
Best Regards
Geoff Bray

Maipura

How does MAIPURA 1967 (VOYAGE ROUND SOUTH AFRICA appeal to you?)
If not then when did I sail with you! It's bugging me.

Welcome and regards

Donald

Hello Peter,
I thought I might find you on here somewhere. I just found Les Gibson recently and have been "catching up" with him. Can't stop now as I'm just off to work (yes, still, at 67) but will get in touch soon.
Best regards, John Brooks
