If you were on the Lutetian in 1971 during the west coast longshoremen's strike and docked in Astoria, we may have met. Steve was a cadet on board at that time.

First ship, Laurentian, joined her as galley boy In drydock north Shields early 72, went to Georgetown Guyana then upriver to Mackenzie to load bauxite. . Useless memory, can't remember much about it !!!
