Don,t know if it is revelant.
There is a major river festival taking place next week, up here in God,s little acre. There will be many events taking place on the River Mersey, and in the confined dock estate..It will be a good place to bring families to experience a bit of modern and nostalgic nauticalia.
Weather permitting

I know Warship Disposal indicates any tow jobs for disposal will probably occur in the autumn.
Last time this happened and the ships were moved from the trots to a quay berth, they were towed away within weeks to the breakers.
Is there any reason why these ships cannot be towed this time of the year, allowing for the fact that Turkish Breakers say that their scrapyards are running
short of vessels.

Maybe they are waiting for the metal prices to fall in their favour, before stitching up the MoD.
