M V Britannic

Hello everyone!
I am newly registered and I am looking for any information regarding the Cunard's MV Britannic. I am particularly interested in the sailing Liverpool-Cobh-New York on May 22nd 1948. However, any details regarding this ship and its tourist class would be much appreciated.
I look forward to your replies!

I have information

My family sailed on the Britannic in May 1948. I was 14 years old, my sister was 16, mom and dad were in their early 40's. I believe we were the last immigrants to be processed through Ellis Island. If you have any specific questions maybe I can help.

I do remember a group of acrobats, I think from a Scandinavian country, at least they were all blonds. They practiced their act not on deck but on the main deck in the gangways/halls.

Not having candy during the war, except what we could beg from the GI's, and with the little bit of money I had, I bought a box of 24 Mars bars. Ate a lot, then gave most of them back over the rail! Now I prefer Snickers!

Me too!

I was born in Stretford. I'm a City fan but don't hold that against me.
