Great photo Brian but all those electricians on one ship?
What did it run on, batteries?

Those electricians look quite smart. Not those I sailed with on Shaw Savill. Could never see Fred Freebury or Ashley Spittal come up to those standards.

Remember Bob she was a old D.C. electric equipment, plenty of motors to maintain!!

Yes Brian , we had four on the Rangitane one per watch and a chief who did very little but she was a smaller ship.
We all used to scrub up like that to go up on the passenger decks until curfew.
