The Victoria ( x P&O ) became the Mona Lisa......anyone any idea what has happened to her ? She had "debateable superstructure" following a refit but her hull had beautifull lines by todays standards...............john g

She is still the Mona Lisa...floating around in the Baltic somewhere I believe, on charter to another German company since her usual one went bust in 2006. Currently under charter to Lord Nelson Seereisen, still owned by Leonardo Shipping.

Not sure if she is 2010 compliant though, possibly doubtful unfortunately. There are plans afoot to turn her into a hotel in Gothenburg...finances and planning regs allowing.

Thanks for that link shamrock, she still looks the same apart from the ensciption and the funnel. Last of the classics with a unique engine I believe.

I was on a Baltic cruise on QUEEN VICTORIA during the first two weeks of June 2009 and saw the MONA LISA in St. Petersburg where she was docked very near QUEEN VICTORIA. She still has gorgeous lines but QUEEN VICTORIA towered over her; it was almost like looking down on a toy ship.
