Information on MV Vancouver City or MV Atonality

I'm looking for information on either of the above ships. My dad Henry Gutman was second engineer on the Vancouver and chief engineer on the Atonality from 1943-1945 and 1951-1954 respectively. He passed away this summer and I'm looking to research his merchant navy days as I've heard some stories but he was always quite reticent about his navy days, particularly those during the war. Just. Note, I'm very interested in the atonality as his second engineer became his father in law(Kenneth McKinnon)!

Thank you for taking the time to read this post and I hope someone out there will be able to fill a few gaps in my dads story.
