Dutch cargo ship Zeus, from the 20's, any clues?

Hi all, my current "assignment" is to find a dutch cargo ship dubbed as "Zeus" form th 20's. My references to it is that was this vessel who transported a former a portuguese president on his trip to a "self"-exile, on December 17th, departing from Lisbon, and stoping by in Setubal. The reference form manuel Teixeira Gomes 8that was the name of the chap) is that they stopped at Setubal (Portugal), Gibraltar, Tanger and Oran (algeria), where he got out.

Another thing, is there a online edition of the Lloyds' List? If so, could you provide me the link?

Cheers in advance

According to Wikpedia, it was a Greek Packet Boat,
named ZEUS.

I have found an Italian translation of the original records,
which may be the source of the dutch ( olandese ) possibilty.

Unfortunately, wikipedia is wrong, raymond. Either Teixeira Gomes and people who wrote about him, refer to the vssel as being a dutch cargo. Will check lloyd's now as well.

By Zeus!!

Glad to have been of help ...

I have been a researcher just about all my life,
and I like sorting the chaff from the wheat.
Trouble is when so many pieces point in the wrong direction,
which lead do you follow??

Algarve is a great place to be living, I am sure.

Best Wishes
Raymond
