The postcard is stamped and dated Monreal 2nd June 1914.
The text reads in part.... "Just a line to let you klnow that I have crossed the herring pond..."
Again note the 2nd June. The card was posted four days AFTER the EMPRESS OF IRELAND sank in the St Lawrence. Again, a nice find in
