HMAS Parramatta, schooner Enterprize and speed boat Marguerite at the 2011 Hobart wooden boat festival. I guess there is some wood on the Parramata somewhere. An interesting contrast in period and type.

The Enterprize is a replica of the schooner that John Pascoe Fawkner used to sail into Port Phillip Bay from Tasmania and create the first settlement that later became Melbourne. There is some dispute as to whether Fawkner or Batman were the first to set up a settlement on the Yarra River.
This is the Enterprize replica, spelling is correct. Enterprize brought the first settlers from Van Dieman's Land to Melbourne. She has a diesel engine, just as well because she doesn't like going to windward much. Just a little over 50' LWL. My 20' yacht can sail rings around her. Magnificent none-
