    Good day, eh? So like I had these two funnels painted in the old Canadian Pacific livery from a former project... so like I figured I'd make an excursion boat - based on the one in the picture... beauty, eh? - to go with my lake freighter. Here are the first two pieces.

    Basic hull pieces formed. Bottom piece has glue tabs to improve mounting of side pieces as well as a corrugated cardboard stiffener piece.

    Basic hull formed up. Corrugated cardboard is useful for internal support. Will be covered by cardboard shape under the funnels.

    Hurricane and boat decks laid out. Funnels test mounted as is entire superstructure. Need to build out promenade deck. Note the structural belts along hull.

    Paint applied and funnels glued on but superstructure not yet mated to hull. Have yet to mount lifeboats, masts and deck supports.
