She was built at St Nazaire in 1966 as CORSE being sold on in 1982. In 2000 she was sold again being renamed EXPRESS SAMINA and tragically on 26th September that year she sank off the Greek coast with the loss of 94 lives.
"Golden Vergina" in Piraeus in 1998, two years before the wreck in Paros. In the wreck (26 of September 2000) the ship travelled for Minoan Flying Dolphins (MFD) and has been renamed "Express Samina" since the end of 1999. In the wreck 82 persons have missed their lives.
