    Glen Line ship Glenalmond berthed in The Royal Docks , London. Sailed on this one as a Middy in 1968 and later in 1977 as 2nd. Mate after she had changed her name to Patroclus, and was under the Dutch flag.

    A recent photo showing the end of the City Airport runway where the Office of Shaw Saville used to be. This was on the right of the entrance to the dock at the end of the aforesaid runway. For me it was a bit sad looking at it as I have not been there since 1973.

    Royal Docks. This photo from my collection was taken either in 1975 or 1980 when I was over in London. I went down to the Dock's to take a look around and bring back some memories.

    10,192 g.t. built in 1971. Brazilian Alianca ship seen leaving London's Royal Docks on 2/9/81. This may be the last ship to load general cargo at the Royals, though a couple of bulkers used the Royal Albert the following year to load scrap.
