Converted in 1941 into an escort aircraft carrier and renamed LONG ISLAND, after war service she was converted back into a passenger ship, emerging in 1948 as NELLY.
Becoming SEVEN SEAS in 1953, she served the Bremen
Seven Seas of Europe Canada Line in service between 1955 and 1966 calling Bremerhaven Rotterdam, Southampton, Le Havre and Montreal, Quebec. Built 1940 as Mormacmail.

Yacht Seven Seas in Miami Basin prior to WW2. The Seven Seas was built by Bergsund M.V. Aktieb in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1912 and served the Swedish Navy as the training ship Abraham Rydberg (II). She was bought in 1928 by Inglis More Uppercue, for use as a yacht, and by William S. Gubelmam in 1936.
