One of those sunrises that you miss after you swallow the anchor. In fact, I don't see any sunrises nowadays!
This shot was taken from the bridge of the Blue Funnel ship Menelaus, anchored in Singapore Roads.
I took this shot looking from Boat Quay over the Singapore River, full of working sampans. On the other side of the river, you can see the dome of the Old Supreme Court building on the left and the Clock-tower next to the Victoria Theatre on the right. As mentioned in a comment on my previous pic of Enterprise, returning from a visit to the mighty ship no-one was permitted to use the Admiral's seat although he wasn't on board and the barge was packed with people. At least the gap left at the stern helped in getting this photo.
