Location is the Waltershofer Hafen at Hamburg, built in the great depression about 1930, merely in use until 1968, today a very busy port for large conatiner vessels.

Me and a bottle of beer on board the old BOW CEDAR, which belonged to Odfjell Tankers in Bergen, Norway. We are on the way from Richards Bay in South Africa to Santos in South America, once in 1978.

Taken from HMS Renown in WW2 no details of where this is taken but could be the Med, an eastbound convoy with plenty of tankers for Malta and beyond. Any ideas?
