Torrens built 1967 by Uddevallavarvet A/B, for W. Wilhelmsen. 1971 she was lengthened by adding a
container carrying section amidships.
She was transferred to Arctic Shg Singapore (Barber ship
management). 1983 sold to Novelda S.A. Panama and
renamed Torre - S. Sold 1985 to Gasmar S.A. and renamed

Famous clipper this one, built 1875 by James Laing, part of her fame consisting in having had Joseph Conrad as Chief Mate.
