This Dutch vessel is 500ft OA and the channel is 550ft. Departue is therefore only on the flood as it is easier to judge the distance off. Actually the Mate on the bow is over the quay but as long as the ship has sternway, all is well. I don't have a picture of her sister the Vulcan.
