16.3.1928: Whilst on a voyage from New York via Los Angeles with general cargo, departed Los Angeles for Yokohama.
24.3.1928: Wireless communication was lost after which vessel disappeared.
Any idea what the contact details are for the port of Newport News? I am in the UK so need a little assistance re American contacts.That would be incredibly helpful,maybe if you go to newport news you might be able to found out if you can get a copy of the cargo manifest

Hi Stephen, my great uncle William Lindsay Duncan was the Captain of the AP when she disappeared in 1928. Very interested in any research/writing you’ve undertaken.
