Ahoy Cliff, The Atascosa was sold in 1947 to the Standard Oil Company of New Orleans,transferred to Panamanian registry in 1950 as Esso Syracuse, after being renamed Esso Buffalo in 1961 and sold to General Cargo Corperation and converted to a freighter and renamed Spitfire reregistered under American flag, she served under that name untill 1973 and returned then under Panamanian registry, according my details, but I'm not certain of course, but I do believe so.
