The motor vessel Bluebook recently arrived at Belfast from Birkenhead to load scrap has caught fire at her mooring at Musgrave Wharf. Cause of fire is reported to be waste oil in the cargo hold. Presently attended by six fire appliances and forty fire personnel. Crew reported all safe however fire continues to burn under scrap cargo which it has been decided to unload.

Fire now extinguished and MCA surveyors aboard to assess condition of vessel. Not much external damage evident except for some paint blistering on shell.
