Anyone ever come across Bob Clay. He did his MED & upgrade to MRGC at the same time (bloody hard graft) with me in 1975 in southampton. He went on from there to CP ships.

Thanks

Thanks for the info on Bobs site- he sounds as mad as ever - when driving along in 75 in Southampton - he lent over from the back seat - put his hands over my eyes and shouted "Were all gonna die" !!.

Pity the web doesn't allow you to contact him. I really would like to get hold of him.
Thanks

Many, Many thanks for that.

I have sent an e mail to him and hope the mad man will reply.

You are a gentleman and a scholar - much appreciated.
People on "ShippingHistory" have been enquiring recently about the absence of Bob Clay. I regret being the bearer of bad news, but if there's anybody on here who is a member of that site (I'm not), could they please pass on this link. Thanks.

Very sad. All of us now with our amusement curtailed. I will pass the bad news, thank you.

Thanks, David.
That is really sad. His humour and wit were sadly missed after he left here. He relieved me in CP Ships and from all accounts was a great shipmate. RIP Bob AR VA. We also worked for KH at the same time.
