She was the second of 5 built 1959-1961 at Harland and Wolff/s Glasgow yard for BI.Sisters were BANKURA,BAMORA,BOMBALA,BARPETA not neccesarily in that order.
I drew this at school invoking comment-not particularly favourable I/m afraid!Art class was for art,not drawings of ships!

Exellent BAMORA is still in service ofChina Yangtze Shipping asYANG ZI JIANG 3 Port of regestry Wu Han.

Excellent! Nice to see her.Remember berthing next to her in London when I was on CITY OF PORT ELIZABETH on a trip to Hamburg but did not get any photos of her (BULIMBA that is).

Hi, wonder if you have any contact information to obtain plans for the vessel. We would like to construct a scale model of the vessel.

According to Laxon & Perry's leet definitive fleet history, BULIMBA was actually the first of the class to be completed (26.03.1959) followed in order by BANKURA, BARPETA, BAMORA and BOMBALA
