Hi, as this is my first thread and i hope this is the correct way, does any anyone remember the "Wallis " & "Cook"
that i think were operated by Sofrana Lines and operated out of Sydney sailing to the South Pacific in the 80's as with another lovely little ship the
"Il De La Mere"
At the time i was a Luanch driver for Stannard Brothers and we used to run the ships mooring lines.
Is there any photos out there of these old ships?
Thanks
Mark.
If you search gallery for "capitaine cook" you will find a good photo posted by Ian Menzies of this ship in Port Kembla in 1979, plus some interesting comments.
